In the past, Worm Cakes were commonly sold at Watsons. Mr Fong recalls buying them as a child, as they were believed to help with appetite and general health. They were inexpensive and had a slightly bitter, herbal taste. Although the product is no longer available, visiting Watsons still brings back that memory. What remains is not the Worm Cake itself, but a reminder of the everyday care that shaped his childhood.
