Watsons Thailand
I began my Watsons journey in 2017 as a Store Manager Trainee in my hometown, Suratthani, through the Talent Development Program. Just three months later, I became a Store Manager, leading stores across southern Thailand for seven wonderful years before returning home. My sister, Saowanit, inspired by my path, joined Watsons as a Customer Assistant in 2014. She later entered the same trainee program in 2018 and now manages the Big C Suratthani store. Our shared journey shows that with passion and dedication, Watsons Thailand truly offers a place to grow.

For over 20 years, I have built my career with this company, starting long before my daughter was born. After her graduation, I encouraged her to join—and it brings me great pride to see her thrive for over two years now. Working together on activities like the Hari Raya Gathering, Concourse, and Stocktake has not only strengthened our teamwork but also brought us closer as mother and daughter. We openly discuss work challenges, maintain professionalism, and support each other through every obstacle. From Sales Assistant to Store Manager, watching my daughter advance to Assistant Supervisor fills me with joy and peace of mind.

PARKnSHOP
My mother’s stories as a frontline staff member at PARKnSHOP inspired me from a young age. Her joy in serving customers and her strength in raising me through life’s challenges left a deep mark on me. After earning my associate degree, I followed in her footsteps and joined PARKnSHOP as a Store Trainee Manager. The company welcomed me with learning and growth opportunities. My proudest moment came last year—leading Discovery Bay Store to win the Best Store Team Award. PARKnSHOP has shaped not only my career, but also the legacy my mother began.

Watsons has been part of our family’s journey for years. As a store employee, I often brought my daughter, Hui Feng, along—she grew up surrounded by the warmth of our team, who became like her extended family. Inspired by that caring environment, she joined as an intern during school and later became a full-time team member after graduation. Watsons’ focus on work-life balance and mental well-being has deeply impacted us. Watsons is our second home, where memories are made and bonds are strengthened. I’m grateful we’ve grown together in a place that truly cares.

Mr. and Mrs. Leung have been shopping for their daily needs at Watsons and PARKnSHOP since their youth. Although they are both now older, they still go in together to select everyday essentials. Mr. Leung remarked, "This place has been with us for many years, witnessing our journey from living as individuals to falling in love, and transitioning from caring for ourselves to caring for each other."
"After my husband was diagnosed with dementia, I took him to Watsons for vitamins and brain supplements. The pharmacist always comes out to help and teaches me how to use the pill organiser," Ms. Tsang said. Once, when her husband went missing and she didn’t have her phone, she asked the staff at Watsons to borrow a phone for assistance, and fortunately, she found him nearby in the mall. "The same staff remember our medications and names, and their care has never changed."
Ms. Cheung and her husband were purchasing a phone at Fortress when they met a staff member known as the "Bald Supervisor." "We call him 'Little Brother!'" Ms. Cheung said, noting that he always helps them with any phone issues and is very attentive. They have gone from being customers to old friends, greeting each other warmly each time they meet.
"After my husband had a stroke, I’ve been pushing the shopping cart to PARKnSHOP every day for the past fifteen years," Ms. Chan said, adding that all the staff know them well. The staff even remember that her husband loves Chaozhou dumplings and always set aside specials for him. One time, when she forgot her wallet, the cashier smiled and said, "My friend, just jot down your number and come back tomorrow to pay!"
