Every ten days, Ms. Chan pushes her handcart to PARKnSHOP in Choi Ha Estate to buy rice and cooking oil. Although other supermarkets and grocery stores are nearby, she prefers to walk a bit further to enjoy the experience at PARKnSHOP. "They have a wide variety of goods, the cashier recognises me, and even suggests cheaper items!" she says with a warm smile, as if she’s talking about an old friend. The trust and feeling of being remembered in her daily routine provide her with reassurance.
