As I was leaving work one evening, I heard a cry and found an elderly regular customer—who visits every Friday for cough sweets—had slipped on ice. I stayed with her, took her home safely, and waited until her granddaughter arrived. It reminded me that caring for customers can go far beyond the shop floor.
